This report provides information about the work of the UN special rapporteurs and independent experts and, in particular, makes recommendations on how the NGO community can strengthen the promotion and protection of children’s rights by the special procedures. The report is useful for NGOs working on behalf of children’s rights, for the office of the High Commissioners for Human Rights, for government and for the holders of the special rapporteur’s mandate.
